Hatch and SK Telecom team up to promote 5G gaming in Korea
Marketing cooperation between Finland’s cloud gaming pioneer and South Korea’s largest mobile operator brings 5G gaming to more consumers
Hatch has begun a marketing cooperation with SK Telecom, the largest mobile operator in Korea, to promote 5G gaming and bring Hatch Premium to more Korean consumers.
As part of the collaboration, Hatch is included in SK Telecom’s 5GX Game Pack bundle of services – for which there are no data charges for consumers until June 30, 2019.
SK Telecom is also promoting Hatch to its network of Korean game developer partners in order to bring more local Korean content into the service, including a special SK Telecom branded room of games within Hatch.
“SK Telecom is a recognised global leader in the deployment of 5G technology, and they are natural allies as we work together to bring 5G gaming to more consumers,” says Hatch Marketing Director Shiho Hashimoto. “We’re happy to work together and we look forward to expanding our offering of games to customers in Korea and beyond.”
“SK Telecom is pleased to join hands with Hatch, a leading company in cloud gaming industry,” says Park Young-seok, 5GX Service Business Group of SK Telecom. “We expect customers to experience SK Telecom’s differentiated 5G network through Hatch’s innovative cloud gaming services.”
